poppin' ultra cherries...

Well...

U asked for it, I listened, and here goes my misguided attempt at blogging! :P
I haven't quite determined how I am going to approach this new medium but something tells me that I should share with people the sort of things that motivate me to be a better Ultralove. Of the few different blogs I've taken the time to read, I enjoy the kind that showcase the artistry and innovation of other artists. Whether its music, art, film or fashion artists and their respective communities are interconnected and, although we might not admit, we are constantly drawing ideas from one another. This is not to say that you won't find me blogging about my own shit but I think that its important, in order to understand where I'm coming from, to hear from artists that inspire me. Dig?

With that said, I want to showcase some very wonderful work by a London based photographer named Nadav Kander. My good friend Tomer DeVito turned me onto his work to get some ideas for a video for my song "Revolution". Kander produced an exhibit called "Chernobyl, Half Life" in which he captured haunting images of Chernobyl and the surronding area, 20 years or so after the tragedy at the nuclear power plant in Pripyat, Ukraine.

I've become a huge fan of this fellow's work and I believe he deserves a Ultra shout out...
You can view his work on his website at www.nadavkander.com and you will find his Chernobyl exhibit under the "Work" section of the site and the exhibit is entitled - "Chernobyl, Half Life".

That wasn't so bad for a first entry! I think I can get the hang of it.
